10 WWE Moments Only The Rock Could Get Away With

1. Attitude Era Insanity

Time has been unkind to the complete chaos of late-90s WWE , but ageing like a fine wine, The Rock's involvement amongst it still looks and feels as fresh as ever.

And throughout multiple title wins, main events, and historic WWE moments, 'The Brahma Bull' was also subjected to a feud with Billy Gunn over the former Tag Champion's backside, a match with Triple H where the two were willingly wrapped in plaster casts, and even a match with Davey Boy Smith centred around actual dogsh*t.

Depending on the injury status of Steve Austin during the halcyon days (and sometimes even if 'Stone Cold' was in attendance), The Rock was the top babyface on the show, and the aforementioned credibility-smashing ideas would have comfortably sunken weaker talents.

The Rock was typically indestructible around the silliness.

Engaging enough to ensure match stakes were important, Rock never got overwhelmed by the ludicrous direction of the programme, and in victory or defeat, was expert in sailing through the disarray unaffected.

Few escaped the era unscathed, but even less emerged with virtually all of the credibility in tact.
