10 WWE Money In The Bank 2020 Impulse Reactions

1. The Winners

Asuka and Otis have both featured in some of the scant few highlights from WWE's empty arena era, and it was nice to see the pair rewarded with very real prizes after the unreal spectacle they'd just contributed to.

The decision was either a show of good faith to the performers, or a realisation that the end result of the overall match wasn't really destined to meet expectations. As they held the briefcases and Michael Cole's disinterested commentary talked us off the air (and the edge of the cliff?), it was hard not to feel happy for the 'Empress Of Tomorrow' and the Heavy Machinery man for their successes.

If they cash in when crowds are back, the decisions will be remembered as good booking with the match that birthed them as good as forgotten. If those cases are handed over to the silence of the Performance Center, WWE deserve the failure the title runs will prove to be.
