10 WWE Money In The Bank 2021 Impulse Reactions

4. Drew...man Reigns?

An unavoidable takeaway from the night, Drew McIntyre found himself subject to a rather concerning - but not remotely surprising - reaction in a pre-match interview and when he entered for the titular semi-main event.

McIntyre became the new Roman Reigns-adjacent lead babyface in 2020, and is now facing a potential uphill battle to not get reactions that were once tied to 'The Big Dog'. His typically w*nky promo before the match generated boos until he started burying The Thunderdome, and a sizeable portion of the paying punters didn't care much for his sword-and-rock shtick when he entered the fray.

Jinder Mahal's run-in during the match drew boos, at least, but those same jeers had been for McIntyre seconds earlier as he scaled the ladder and reached for the briefcase. The relief was palpable when he was taken out of this and, in reality, the title picture anytime soon.

"Pop.wav" sure was sh*t for all of us, but how long will it take for Vince McMahon to start reconstructing all those Zoom call windows to get what he wants?
