Some reading this will be scratching their heads and wondering how Ronda Rousey winning anything in WWE is a major surprise. One need only glance at her recent presentation to see what's what though; Ronda is in line for tag-team success alongside Shayna Baszler when both return from injuries.

Another singles run, at this stage in her wrestling career, would be a minor surprise.

Social media would be stacked with whinging negativity if Ronda won the women's briefcase in London this July. Cries of, 'that's too obvious' (even though it absolutely isn't) would fill Twitter, and people would be all-round unhappy that the former MMA star had been gifted another opportunity.

Perhaps WWE could deploy the same tactic proposed for Montez Ford by having Ronda show solidarity with Shayna and cash in for a guaranteed Women's Tag-Team Title tilt. Austin Theory's United States title cash in last year set the tone for more non-World Championship bids.
