For the most part (Brock Lesnar winning in 2019 aside), WWE views Money In The Bank as a golden ticket to the top for fresher faces who haven't bagged countless World Titles in the past. That's why a handful of fans will screw up their faces at the thought of Edge pulling down the briefcase in 2023.

Three words: One. Last. Run.

The 'Rated-R Superstar' is closer to retirement than ever before, and there was a strange sense of emotion in the air when he beat Finn Bálor inside Hell In A Cell at WrestleMania 39. Will that be Edge's final hurrah on the grandest stage? It could be. Or, he could win MITB and make that part of the narrative as he bids to fight 'Father Time' by becoming WWE or Universal Champ one last time.

This would be particularly exciting if WWE split the World Titles again, because it'd let creative give Edgeheads one final gift whilst still being able to book another top feud elsewhere on the same pay-per-view. Just a thought, and something few would see coming.
