With the company having dozens of Legends at their disposal, it only makes sense to try and utilise them more on the WWE Network. One way to do that would be to have them appear on a debate programme. When WWE released the Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels rivalries DVD, the most fascinating part of it (for me, anyway) was watching the two Hall of Famers verbally spar on who went too far in promos, why things didnt work out and everything that led to Bret leaving in November 1997. More programming like this would be a great addition to the Network. Imagine Bruno Sammartino and Steve Austin sitting down in the same room debating their respective eras in wrestling, with Sammartino telling stories about working in Madison Square Garden every month and Austin defending the Attitude Era to Bruno and explaining why the swearing and the beer added to his act. Two different generations discussing their respective runs and debating the merit of why theirs worked. It would be must-see TV for grapple fans. Womens wrestling is a hot topic amongst wrestlers right now so why not have Ivory come in (after her appearance on Table for 3 where she talked about hating the term Diva) and have her in there with Nikki Bella, who has to defend the term. Youd have a fascinating conversation between two people who believe in what theyre defending. These are just a couple of potential ideas but, really, considering who WWE has access to the possibilities are endless.
