2. The Overall Experience

As a wrestling fan, I had a great night, this was one of the best shows I've ever been to. As for my fiancée, she also really enjoyed herself. That said, there were some peculiarities that undermined the event.

A big one, was WWE's strict rule on what you can bring into the arena. A simple handbag was not allowed, so my fiancée and hundred of other fans had to queue and check it in at an external storage point. This was even worse after the show, when the queue to collect was snaking around the arena. It was a level of security that was on a par with the Olympics, and that definitely left people scratching their head. Why not just do a bag search? Well, the arena blamed WWE.

It didn't reflect very well on the company, with a lot of frustrated people caught out by the strictness.
