It's fun to look back at the landscape of early NXT and see what names were frequently featured back then. And when it comes to those first few years of the black and gold brand, one talent who was regularly on NXT television was Sylvester Lefort.

Making his NXT bow in May 2013, the Frenchman was initially showcased as a wealthy manager who soon had Scott Dawson and Alexander Rusev under his wing. An injury to Dawson was followed by Rusev siding with the debuting Lana, and Lefort soon found himself as a singles wrestler before teaming up with Marcus Louis as the Legionnaires.

This tag team would be a semi-regular presence on NXT TV throughout 2014 and into 2015, with Lefort's most notable moment coming at NXT TakeOver: Fatal 4-Way, where he lost a Hair vs. Hair bout against Enzo Amore.

Ever the sly heel, Sylvester ran away and left poor Marcus Louis to get his head shaved, which in turn led to the team splitting up. Lefort would briefly team with Jason Jordan in '15, then have a house show run of managing Billie Kay, before he was released in early 2016.

Lefort, as Tom LaRuffa, is still an active wrestler to this day, with him having spent the last few years wrestling for various small promotions across Europe, predominantly in France and Italy.
