10 WWE NXT Wrestlers Who Should Go To Raw Or SmackDown Next

7. Rhea Ripley

For somebody whose star was so much on the rise just last year, Rhea Ripley has had a pretty dismal 2020 thus far. Perhaps a main roster call-up is just what she needs to revitalize her character.

As a former NXT Women's Champion and NXT UK Women's champion (and thus far the only woman to hold both of said titles), Ripley has more than established herself as a front runner among both of those rosters. And, much like previous entry Keith Lee, she also made a name for herself at the 2019 Survivor Series, where she last eliminated Team SmackDown captain Sasha Banks to win her traditional elimination match for Team NXT.

Sadly, unlike Lee, she was unable to continue with her upward trajectory.

Following two successful title defenses against Toni Storm and Bianca Belair, she was thrust into a WrestleMania 36 feud with Charlotte Flair, which many thought would be her crowning moment. Unfortunately (and inexplicably), she lost that match, and then she took the pinfall from Io Shirai in her Triple Threat rematch at NXT TakeOver: In Your House.

Realistically, there's not much left she can do in NXT.

With those two losses, she's more or less out of the NXT Title picture, so why not try her hand at one of the WWE Women's Championships? After all, with Becky Lynch gone and with Charlotte *everywhere*, the main roster women's division needs new stars now more than ever.
