10 WWE NXT Wrestlers Who Should Go To Raw Or SmackDown Next

There have been conflicting reports as of late about whether or not WWE intends to call The Velveteen Dream up to the main roster. But after his loss to Adam Cole at NXT TakeOver: In Your House, he can no longer challenge for the NXT Championship.

So... what better time than now?

Much like Toni Storm, the also-only-24-year-old Dream has a star quality that cannot be taught. After undergoing several gimmick changes that didn't land, Patrick Clark finally hit the nail on the head with his Prince-inspired persona in May of 2017. His unwavering commitment to his character earned him the adulation of the NXT crowd, which was only bolstered by his vastly-improved ring work.

Dream's popularity was rewarded with a record-setting 209 (recognized)-day reign as NXT North American Champion, and he's remained entrenched in NXT's upper midcard at a bare minimum for the last three years. Sadly, his aforementioned loss to Cole has left him without any meaningful direction, so it only makes sense for him to try his hand at success on either RAW or SmackDown.

He's already received endorsements from high profile names like John Cena and Kurt Angle, so it's hard to imagine him being anything less than a hit. So again, I ask - what better time than now?
