10 WWE Predictions We All Got Completely Wrong In 2017

4. Sheamus And Cesaro Will Turn On One Another

The 'enemies become friends' trope looked destined to eventually eat itself even when Sheamus and Cesaro ditched the boo/yay contrasting chants bit of their act to get on the same page before WrestleMania.

Rather than Sheamus eventually reminding audiences what made him so hatable for so many years though, Cesaro stepped over to the dark side with the 'Great White' and the two haven't looked back since.

Responsible for as many show-stealers as any other act on the roster, 'The Bar' have fittingly raised the game for doubles combat to such an extent that a feud with Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins has only just begun to run out of steam in December after potentially peaking in a glorious SummerSlam tag title switch.

Proving how deserving they were of the plaudits, the pair had a blinder with SmackDown Live! contemporaries The Usos at November's Survivor Series in a brand vs brand battle that outstripped the New Day/Shield contest earlier in the night.

It being WWE, the split will doubtlessly arrive sooner rather than later, but hopefully the pair earn a joyful run as babyfaces first. Their matches have simply become too entertaining to not remain a key feature of the show.
