https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iEh0FCYw3Dk No rivalry has ever been summed up better than these four minutes of The Rock and Steve Austin beating the tar out of each other set to Limp Bizkit's My Way. This list has some great promos set to slower song, and great promos set to trashy nu-metal songs, but this is somehow both. Halfway through, as the tension between the two boils over and explodes, so does the song. The true greatness of the promo lies in how it does so much, with so little. Most WrestleMania feuds have months of build-up, but The Rock v Austin wasn't a done deal until No Way Out 2001 when The Rock won the WWF Championship. As a result, this promo does have a lot of repeated footage, more so than most, but it's so good that it doesn't matter. While so many feuds rely on ridiculous contrivances to make us believe these two men hate each other, The Rock and Stone Cold's feud keeps it simple. As Austin says "The fact of the matter is Rock, you have the WWF title and I want it." Even when Vince McMahon brings in Austin's wife, at the end of the day the feud is about the gold, which unfortunately is something all too lacking in modern wrestling.
