10 WWE Promos For Matches That Never Happened

1. Ultimate Warrior/Randy Savage vs. Ric Flair/Razor Ramon (Survivor Series 1992)

Survivor Series 92 Match Of course, prior to this match ever occurring, The Ultimate Warrior left the WWF because he was either a) fired due to steroid abuse allegations or b) unhappy with his creative direction after the event. This is one of those matches that would have benefited all involved had it occurred. Scott Hall was finally on a main event level, and having a big performance with the likes of Flair, Savage and Warrior actually would've given Hall two big money opponents. Randy Savage having a last hurrah with Razor Ramon would've made for a great match, and yes, like Rick Rude before him, Razor Ramon would've likely made sense out of getting top-flight performances out of the Ultimate Warrior. Without Warrior there, the match became Mr. Perfect and Randy Savage against Razor Ramon and Ric Flair, which ultimately is a midcard match with an ex-champ with one foot out of the door (Flair) wrestling with an IC champ level performer (Ramon) and yet another ex-champ (Savage) wrestling with another IC champ level performer (Perfect). More of a seemingly pointless showcase match than a moment to build good faith in a possible new main eventer (Ramon) a HUGE moment was missed.
