From @BigATX420: Greatest Intercontinental Title feud ever?
There are a few that come to mind right away: Steamboat/Savage, Ramon/Michaels and Triple H/Rock. When you think of the IC Title you have to think of Steamboat/Savage and their famous match at WrestleMania 3, but the feud started even before that. Remember it was Savage that injured Steamboat by attacking him in the throat. That's why Steamboat was so determined to beat him and when he did beat him in their WM3 classic, the pop was enormous in part because the story was so awesome. That's probably the best IC Title feud going all the way back to 1987. In terms of having the greatest matches, it's hard to top Razor Ramon vs. Shawn Michaels thanks their Ladder Matches at WrestleMania 10 and SummerSlam 1995 when they had two of the best matches ever. They had some other matches too, but it's those two that stand out the most. A case can be made for that as the best IC Title. That Triple H/Rock feud in 1998 was really entertaining with these two young guys on the rise leading their respective groups (Hunter with DX, Rock with Nation of Domination) and you could tell they were on their way to becoming top guys. Their signature match was also a Ladder Match at SummerSlam 1998 that was very entertaining. There are plenty of other great feuds for the IC Title in wrestling history. It's a prestigious title that WWE needs to keep building up as something important.
