4. Will Firing Angle Help Ziggler, Ryback And Rowan?
From @sofdlovesbsb: Do you see the firing angle helping out Dolph Ziggler, Ryback and/or Eric Rowan? Does Dolph turn heel after this to get his job back?
The idea behind the angle is to help the guys, but you never really know until it happens. All we can do right now is hope for the best because we have no idea when they'll be brought back or how it's going to take place. For somebody like Cody Rhodes it helped him a couple of years ago because it gave him a lot of momentum as a babyface when he came back while also re-introducing Goldust into the mix. Then there was Brie Bella. It led to her having the worst feud of the year with her sister Nikki. There are so many other firing angles that it's hard to remember them all, but usually they are lame. Ziggler really shouldn't be off TV at all because he was on fire after Survivor Series, but his momentum cooled because that's lame WWE booking. He should have been pushed up the card instead of moving down. Now he's in a state of limbo. Ryback doesn't really need sympathy heat. He's a badass that fans cheer for because he beats people up. WWE has been complicating things with him and it's hurting him. Keep it simple! Rowan is a limited performer. He's doing that awkward babyface thing right now. He's better off as a heel long term just because he's a physically imposing guy. The optimistic fan in me wants to think that Ziggler will be helped by the angle, but the realist in me thinks that few people really benefit from firing angles. Just let the guy wrestle. He's really good at what he does.
