From @WrestleMike: Bryan vs. Reigns as the Rumble final two. Reigns wins, but does he get the Batista reaction of last year?
For those unaware, the "Batista reaction" means getting booed even though you're supposed to be a popular face. The feeling among a lot of fans is that if Reigns wins the Rumble he might get booed by the fans in Philly that will want Bryan to win. It's a valid point. There's a very good chance that Reigns would be booed if he was final two with Bryan or somebody else really popular like Ziggler. It's unlikely that WWE would let something like that happen, though. They could have somebody else eliminate Bryan or Ziggler earlier in the match so that Reigns is left to battle against heels rather than a face like Bryan. It wouldn't be a shock if the final two are Reigns and Big Show just because they are pushing Show like a huge threat again since he turned heel. At least that way if Show is the last guy in the match, Reigns would get cheered for the win. It's important to book the Rumble match in a smart way. WWE knows this. They just have to do a better job of it this year.
