From @simononly: How do you feel about the WWE Champion not defending the title on two PPVs in a row? Will it damage the title's credentials?
I feel like it's already been damaged. The more time that passes without the WWE Champion present, the more it hurts the product. That title isn't legit, but to the average WWE fan it means a lot. The value of the title has definitely gone down this year. Even though I will always consider myself to be a huge Brock Lesnar fan, I'm disappointed that WWE didn't convince him to work more matches or find the funds to make it happen. At least work Survivor Series since it's supposed to be a big show. There's a rumor that Lesnar is going to defend the WWE Title against John Cena at the Royal Rumble, but it could happen at TLC instead. Whenever it is, WWE needs to really put over the importance of the gold because right now there are probably fans sitting at home that don't want to watch anymore because the WWE Champ is sitting at home right now. My expectation is that Lesnar is going to do the obvious thing, which is carry the WWE Title to WrestleMania 31 where he'll face Roman Reigns. That will be a win for Reigns and that's when the WWE Title will be on television on a regular basis once again.
