From @AngryPaul83: Why does Jim Ross not have any current WWE affiliates on his podcast?
They must really not like Jim Ross because they don't have any WWE employees on his podcast. The podcasts of Steve Austin and Chris Jericho have WWE guests, but not Ross. He left the company before his podcast started, so maybe WWE has blocked their talent from appearing on his show. It's weird, isn't it? He was a 20 year employee that is in their Hall of Fame, yet they don't trust him talking to a WWE employee because of what he might say. It's not like their relationship with JR is completely dead. If you go to WWEShop.com you can still order his BBQ sauces from their store and it ships worldwide, which is pretty cool for him. Other than that, they have really cut off any interaction with him. It's a shame just because of how much he's meant to a lot of people in the wrestling business. His podcast is still really good even without guests that currently work for WWE. Ross asks the right questions and has entertaining discussions with his guests. The one that aired this week with Matt & Jeff Hardy was particularly interesting.
