When the stipulation was announced for Survivor Series that only John Cena can bring them back it was probably done because WWE has some kind of plan in place. I'd be shocked if Triple H wasn't a part of the WrestleMania 31 card likely facing Sting too. There's likely going to be some angle in place where Cena needs to bring back Hunter. Perhaps Sting makes an appearance at the Royal Rumble, then Hunter shows up to attack him as revenge for Survivor Series and then that leads Sting to ask Cena to bring back Hunter so he can face him in a match at WrestleMania. They didn't really go into specifics with the stipulation. Does being absent mean that Hunter can't wrestle again or does it only mean he can never have power again? This idea that Hunter isn't going to wrestle again seems like a stretch to me. I'm fine with no more Authority. I got tired of seeing them doing the same promos every week. Whether there's a full time GM or they have different people every week is fine. I'm just glad they changed things up.
