From @Zerok0ol: Are there any intriguing matchups if Kurt Angle were to return to WWE? There are plenty of them. Whether it happens or not, we have no idea at this point. It seems like he may stay in TNA, but if he does go to WWE it would be awesome. Some of the guys that Angle hasn't faced in WWE that would be great matchups include Daniel Bryan, Cesaro, Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose, Sami Zayn, Dolph Ziggler, Jack Swagger and obviously Rusev. If they did the Rusev match that would really be cool because Angle is the biggest American hero there is since he won an Olympic gold medal for America in 1996. There are also plenty of WWE stars that Angle faced during his initial run. Names like John Cena, Randy Orton, Brock Lesnar, Triple H, Undertaker, The Rock, Big Show and Chris Jericho come to mind. The possibilities are endless. If Angle worked in WWE for one year on a part time schedule there would be a number of fresh matchups for him. It's just a matter of whether they can work out a deal that works for both sides.
