From @patosaavedra45: Is this era drawing less than the Nash as a champion era or when HBK or Bret were on top?
Things are better now. WWE is a bigger company in 2014 than they were in 1995 when Kevin Nash had a nearly year long run as one of the worst drawing champions in company history. A big part of the reason is because WWE is more of a global brand with a bigger presence outside of the US. What was evident during those shows in the mid-1990s was they really didn't sell out that much or at least on a regular basis. Maybe events in New York City did, but good luck selling out Raw tapings. A lot of PPVs weren't full or had papered crowds. These days, almost every PPV sells out and most Raw tapings are full or close to it. In terms of attendance for WWE house shows in 2014 and Smackdown tapings, the numbers aren't great. At their peak 15 years ago they sold out nearly every house show. Now they do about half the building in some markets. The business of WWE is fine. They took some hits with the WWE Network, but the traditional business model they have is still working and likely isn't going to change soon. In a few years if WWE Network remains profitable they will continue to grow as a company.
