From @sXePotter: Does The Ascension dropping the NXT Tag Titles signal them being the next challengers for The Usos and is this the right choice if so?
That feud has been rumored so long that it's definitely a possibility. They actually wrestled in NXT before too. It's a good contrast in styles when they meet up because The Usos are talented smaller wrestlers while The Ascension are better against guys like that. What's interesting about the scenario is that the team of Goldust & Stardust have been doing very well as a heel tag team. It seems like they turned heel for a reason and that was so that WWE can put the tag titles on them. The Usos have had an impressive run as the tag champs, but it wouldn't be a bad idea to move the titles on Goldust & Stardust at Night of Champions. It's only a matter of time until The Ascension called up to the main roster especially after losing the tag titles. Whether The Usos are still tag champs or not, we don't know. They can still feud down the line.
