From @af_ben: Do you think the British Bulldog will go into the WWE Hall of Fame?
Davey Boy Smith was a tremendous wrestler that is definitely worthy. It's a tough one because we really have no idea who WWE is considering for the Hall of Fame. We can read about names being thrown out there, but In terms of what he accomplished in his career, he should be in. He was a prominent figure in both WWE & WCW for over a decade. His run as a tag team wrestler with the Dynamite Kid was very successful as the British Bulldogs were one of the most well known teams in WWE in the late 1980s. When he became a singles wrestler he had a lot of success as an Intercontinental Champion. Even though he didn't become a World Champion in WWE or WCW, he headlined several PPVs as a top contender. The British Bulldog passed away in 2002, but he's a name that fans will never forget. He's also arguably one of the most influential British wrestler ever that was very successful in American wrestling. He deserves to be recognized in WWE's Hall of Fame and eventually it will happen.
