10 WWE Questions You Most Want Answered (April 18)
3. Is NXT Touring A Good Idea?
From @Maaaaaardy: Do you think that it's a bad idea for NXT to tour on its own? It'll hurt once the stars leave.
It's a good idea. The WWE name on any show is a positive and NXT has been able to draw in a hardcore audience that loves the show for the great wrestling that they get to see on a weekly basis. It's an alternative to the main roster, which makes it appealing to those of us that are considered hardcore fans. The NXT brand will probably be hurt when the likes of Zayn, Owens, Balor, Itami, Breeze, Charlotte, Banks and others are on the main roster, but the whole point of developmental is to get ready for the next level. Once those guys get to that next level there will be others to step up. It's WWE's job to figure that stuff out. They do a good job of it. What WWE plans on doing most likely is hitting the bigger markets like New York, New Jersey, Philadelphia, Chicago and places like that where they know they can get hotter crowds. Growing NXT is a wonderful thing for WWE as well as fans that want to see NXT stars live.
