4. Would Raw/SD Be Like NXT With Triple H In Charge?
From @talladenyou85: Do you think when Vince McMahon steps away the in-ring Raw and Smackdown product will become more like NXT with Triple H in charge?
That's a very interesting question that is tough to answer because there's no way we will really know until the day that it happens and if it happens. When Triple H was on the Austin podcast he made a point to say that it was easier for him to market NXT because he knows that the people that watch that show are more of the hardcore fans aka people like us that read (or write) about wrestling online. The casual viewer might not watch NXT. Because of that, they can make NXT more of a traditional wrestling show. The way Raw is presented is for that wider audience, which means marketing to children and then also keeping in elements of the show that appeal to everybody. A problem with Vince of late is he's set in his ways in terms of having that 15 minute promo to start Raw every week and things like that. Hunter's view of things is different than Vince's in some ways, so when Hunter is in control there's a very good chance that stuff will change. It's just that we don't know to what degree that change will happen until that time comes.
