The answer that immediately leaps out to me is Neville, whose recent heel turn has propelled him to the top of the cruiserweight division in no time. Some way below him are current champion Rich Swann and Brian Kendrick, whose sheer charisma keeps him constantly in the conversation.
Initial division figurehead TJ Perkins unfortunately looks to have lose quite a lot of steam since his CWC victory, but those eliminated earlier in the tournament such as Jack Gallagher and Noam Dar are at least building momentum on the back of storytelling. Strangely, though, 205 Live seems only interested in one half of these feuds, as Daivari and Cedric aren't having nearly as much attention paid to them as their counterparts.
However, I'm still waiting for my boy Lince Dorado to ascend to the top of the division and hold the title for four straight years. That can't come quickly enough, as far as I'm concerned.
