1. Will WWE Allow Roman Reigns To Break CM Punk's Record?
Our final question comes from
@hellosaul11, who asks if WWE will allow Roman Reigns to break CM Punk's record of 434 days as WWE Champion. Thankfully (or sadly, depending on your point of view) I can't see that happening, for two main reasons. Firstly, Punk's reign came at a time when WWE had both his championship and the World Heavyweight Championship active. This allowed for Punk's reign to grow without the product feeling too stale, as another major championship was changing hands on a far more regular basis. Now, with the WWE World Heavyweight Championship the only active top-tier title, a repeat looks unlikely. Secondly, Roman simply doesn't have the enduring popularity of CM Punk. The latter was one of the most beloved champions in recent memory for a reason; the guy was very good, in terms of both in-ring action and charisma. Reigns is nowhere near as polished a superstar as Punk - perhaps owing to his lack of independent experience, of which Punk had a boatload - and has therefore struggled to gain the support of the fans. Add to this the idea that Punk had to fight to earn his spot at the top of the card, while Reigns is more of a hand-picked golden boy, and it's easy to see why fans haven't taken to him so readily.
