8. What Is Your Favourite Royal Rumble?
As far as high-profile matches go, Royal Rumbles tend to be regarded in the same light by many fans. Most would agree that the 1992 and 2001 incarnations are excellent, while 1995 and 1999 are generally thought of as occupying the lower end of the scale.
While I've seen a lot of agreement that my favourite Rumble is a good match, I don't feel it receives quite the acclaim it deserves. The 2010 version is a brilliant match, featuring CM Punk's infamous sermon on the mount, Edge's shocking return, and a number of potential winners.
The best part of the match is the ongoing story of Shawn Michaels desperately trying to seize a title shot, thereby earning himself a rematch with Undertaker at WrestleMania 26. Ultimately he's not able to, even after turning in an unbelievable performance (and eliminating best pal Triple H, such is his desperation). It's wonderful and heartbreaking.
