5. When He's Called Up, Who Should Baron Corbin Feud With?
Another NXT-based question, this one from @Michael_D32. Baron Corbin is a slightly odd figure in the landscape of WWE's (so-called) developmental territory. Whereas many stars on his level are incredibly over with the loyal fans, regardless of heel or babyface alignment, Corbin has divided opinion. The Lone Wolf seems destined for a main roster call-up, given his look and size, but hasn't impressed quite as much as his many talented peers. It seems harsh considering the overall quality of the show, but his Takeover: London bout with Apollo Crews was probably the most disappointing of the night. WWE therefore need to tread very carefully when calling-up Corbin, which makes the selection of his first opponent a difficult one. He'll likely be a heel, and although it wouldn't lead to the best quality matches out there, I think the best option would actually be Kane. Physical similarities between Baron and the Big Red Machine are obvious, and Kane has an enduring credibility which could help Corbin get over. The Lone Wolf would obviously have to win the feud, preferably in dominant fashion.
