From @bryanv21: How much pull does John Cena have backstage? And do you think his speech about Cesaro on Monday is turning heads?
He probably has as much pull as any full time wrestler considering his longevity and status. While there have been some instances where people talked about him holding people down (like how he didn't want to put over The Nexus at SummerSlam 2010), he's not really known for being a backstage politician that messes with other people's careers. If he is like that, not a lot of people talk about other than guys no longer in WWE that are bitter about their careers. Regarding the matches with Cesaro, the hope is that WWE management will wake up regarding the Swiss Superman and realize how talented he is. Triple H probably knows how good he is because he was used in NXT with Sami Zayn when Hunter started to get involved there, but Vince McMahon probably still needs to see more. In terms of in-ring performance, Cesaro might be the best worker in the entire company. Like Cena said himself, Cesaro can do things that nobody else can and that makes him special. Here's hoping that Cena puts him over to management in order to help Cesaro get that singles push he truly deserves.
