4. Should Stipulation-Based PPVs Be Scrapped
Yes, I completely agree. Pay per views such as Hell In A Cell and TLC should indeed be scrapped, for two major reasons.
Firstly, as Michael points out above, they dilute the intensity and impact of such stipulations - matches which should naturally arise to cater for the demands of a particularly intense feud.
Secondly, the continued existence of such events places too tight a constraint upon WWE's booking team. Isn't it weird how wrestlers suddenly begin to use weapons in the build to TLC, or interfere in far more matches prior to Hell In A Cell?
I'd only really excuse Royal Rumble and Survivor Series in this regard - these events are far too firmly entrenched in the history of WWE (and, indeed, professional wrestling) to be cast aside.
