10 WWE Questions You Most Want Answered (Mar 14)

7. Was Ending "The Streak" Worth It?

From @liver_shubair: After what transpired since Undertaker lost the streak up to now, do you think it was worth ending it?? Because I feel like it wasn't worth it.
This has been WWE's plan for the last year with Brock Lesnar beating Undertaker, then winning the WWE Title and taking a lot of time off before likely dropping it to Roman Reigns at WrestleMania. The only difference is that they wanted it to be Daniel Bryan as his opponent at SummerSlam, but he was hurt. Lesnar likely would have beat Cena at some point too. Ending "The Streak" isn't something that should be considered a bad move. It's not like it was some title. I never thought it would end, but I'm okay with it. Lesnar has been booked tremendously well as WWE Champion aside from not being on the show every week and missing four PPVs while he was champion. Some people consider that a big deal, but looking back it really didn't matter. His WWE Title match at Royal Rumble was one of the best of the year so far and putting over Reigns at WrestleMania is WWE's way of setting things up for the future. Some fans are probably never going to be happy that The Streak ended, but it did. Perhaps a younger guy could have been a better choice than Lesnar. However, we've got the greatness of Heyman promos for about a year so I'd say it was worth it.
