From @pip1984: Do you think Triple H wants his NXT talent to go to the main roster or stay and make NXT the best WWE TV?
It's a little bit of both options, but they definitely want NXT talent to go to the main roster. There are guys like Sami Zayn and Adrian Neville that have been there for about three years. There's no reason for them to be there any longer. They have so much talent that they are clearly better than the people trying to teach them. Any time somebody from NXT goes to the main roster, then has a lot of success and becomes a big name (like Seth Rollins or Bray Wyatt for example) then that's proof that the system works. It may not work for everybody like an Adam Rose, but somebody going developmental to the main roster is the whole point of the process. What's great about the NXT brand is that it's been able to become its own thing with a huge fanbase that absolutely loves it, so the talent will get to work in front of bigger crowds and it can grow that way. Hunter may want some of them to stay in NXT to help grow it even more, but using it as a feeder to the main roster is the most important thing.
