Yes and no. Yes because he's such a great performer that can have amazing matches with anybody. He's one of the best wrestlers of the last 15 years, no doubt about it. Just because he was out of WWE doesn't hurt in that regard. You can't take away what he did mostly in TNA. The reason I say no is because it's unrealistic to think that WWE would pay him what he's making in New Japan right now. He's their top guy right now. He's said he made more last year than he did in TNA and that's in the range of $500,000 in a year or so. If WWE signed him to a NXT deal for 1/10 of that why would he go to WWE? He wouldn't. It's a shame that AJ Styles never really got a chance to make a mark in WWE because he certainly could have done very well. It just wasn't meant to be for him.
