7. Do Stipulation-Based PPVs Kill The Hype For Those Matches?

This is a tricky one, as I enjoy a chaotic TLC or Hell In A Cell match as much as the next wrestling fan, and at least stipulation-based pay per views guarantee such action on an annual basis (at the very least).

On the other hand, part of what made these matches so special back in the Attitude Era was their scarcity and relevance. For the most part, Hell In A Cell matches were rolled out only in the event of the most bitter feuds. These days, the stipulation occurs because hey, it's that time of year again - which really takes away from the fabled nature of the structure.

I'd personally like to see Hell In A Cell and TLC removed from the calendar, although I'm fine with more ceremonial events such as King of the Ring, Royal Rumble, Survivor Series, and so on. They've passed into tradition, and deserve a consistent place.
