8. With The 2017 Royal Rumble In San Antonio, Will Shawn Michaels Return?
Callum has a very intriguing question, one which will surely have been on the minds of many since the Royal Rumble 2017 location was revealed. The show will be held in San Antonio, the hometown of a certain Shawn Michaels.
You'd surely have to put money on HBK appearing in some capacity - but I don't think it'll be as an entrant in the Rumble itself. Since retiring, Michaels has pretty much stayed true to his promise, and kept a respectful distance from the action. He helped Steve Austin and Mick Foley take out the League of Nations at WrestleMania 32, but that didn't really require anything beyond a short brawl and Sweet Chin Music.
Don't expect 'Sexy Boy' to hit after one of the Rumble's signature countdowns (but don't expect me to keep my cool if it actually does).
