A Shane McMahon return comes to mind. Vince may be too old and want to stay away. Seeing Shane come back to try to get back the company from his evil sister and her husband/brother-in-law would be a cool angle that comes off as believable too. Is it likely? Probably not. What they did at Survivor Series last year was fine, but of course that didn't last that long and The Authority was back after about one month. My guess is that Triple H and Stephanie want to be regular characters until WrestleMania 32 because it's likely Hunter vs. Rock at WM. Why would Hunter/Steph write themselves off when they are in a big match? Not going to happen, so we should assume they are both going to be around until WM32. The best situation might be that WrestleMania match with Rock saying that if I win then Triple H has to step down as The Authority. Rock could easily say that people are sick of them, so he's going to do something for the people as the People's Champion and get rid of them. The Rock wins at WrestleMania with the support of Vince McMahon in a babyface role, so that puts an end to the story. That's how I would do it. Then they can make somebody else the GM of the shows because fans are sick of Hunter and Stephanie.
