10 WWE Quick Fixes To Save Finn Bálor

8. Tackle The Beast

With or without the Universal Title, it's time for Brock Lesnar to come face to face with Finn Bálor.

Size discrepancies between the two were moot the night after WrestleMania 33, when Paul Heyman brought his brand new Universal Champion to the ring to gloat about their victory over Goldberg and plant seeds for 'The Beast's potential rivalries over the coming year.

On Heyman's agenda that night was Roman Reigns, but the traditionally rambunctious post-WrestleMania audience only yearned for one man.

They got their wish to a point in that evening's main event of course, but a Finn Bálor/Brock Lesnar clash has become the contemporary equivalent of a dream match injuries sadly robbed everybody of back in 2014.

Few were opposed to the prospect of their beloved hero Daniel Bryan getting thrown all over it meant there was an opportunity to see 'Yes Man' collide with Lesnar, and the prospect of a similar slaying has fans salivating at the possibilities.

As evidenced by his 2017 run-sheet, WWE are having a whale of a time putting Brock in there with fellow monsters as it stands, but the time has come to let opposites attract as they so briefly did during his choice battles with Seth Rollins and CM Punk.

Even in defeat, going toe-to-toe with Lesnar can provide a star-making moment. Finn need only ask an old foe about that...
