10 WWE Rejects Immediately Pushed By TNA Impact Wrestling

2. X-Pac

A massive star for both WCW and WWE during the Monday Night Wars, X-Pac was considered a valuable get for TNA when he arrived in September 2002 to join former nWo and DX buddies Scott Hall and BG James in their war against Jeff Jarrett.

Behind the scenes though, Sean Waltman's mounting personal demons had long overwhelmed his value as an in-ring performer. Furthermore, through his limited interest in evolving as a character following the gradual decline of the aforementioned factions, audiences were simultaneously so apathetic and negative that the term 'X-Pac Heat' was devised just to label the unprecedented responses he was receiving.

Winning the X Division Title almost immediately upon arriving with the group, he was another case of the company harbouring a fascination with any WWE name value at the expense of some of their very talented home-grown stars.

Revealing in later years that he'd forgotten the finish of a title match against AJ Styles on a weekly pay-per-view after injecting meth earlier that day, Waltman was losing his personal battles in very public fashion thanks to repeated opportunities to appear on television with TNA.

After numerous previous indiscretions, his final tenure with the company came in 2010, when he no-showed their Lockdown pay-per-view and was released alongside Scott Hall just weeks later.
