10 WWE Returns That Must Happen In 2024

8. Mickie James

Bad Bunny WWE
IMPACT Wrestling

Mickie James has been a cornerstone of the Impact/TNA Knockouts division since returning to the company in 2021, but injury midway through 2023 derailed an excellent title reign and could see her ending up back with the market leader.

Though things ended with some acrimony last time around - James was one of the more prominent recipients of her treasured possessions in a bin bag from the company worth billions - this is presumably not the case anymore.

A 2022 one-night Royal Rumble return brought her back to the fold as the Impact version of herself, Hardcore Country theme and all. James looked understandably elated with the development, and since then her legacy as a light in the darkness of the mid-2000s has been rightfully restored. Add too it that real life husband Nick Aldis has ended 2023 with a prominent on-screen role, and James might well look at the two sharing the locker room as a more suitable arrangement than her current one.
