WWE loved to book Teddy Long in romance storylines. He had a couple of them in his career with the more recent one being with Aksana. Prior to that there was Kristal Marshall in 2007. The story was that Kristal started flirting with Smackdown GM Teddy Long as a way to get her friend Vickie Guerrero a job. Kristal had no problem stripping for Teddy in his office. It got pretty serious with Teddy (who is over 30 years older than Kristal) proposing to Kristal and then they had a wedding where Teddy had a heart attack before they could get married. A few weeks later, Kristal was out of WWE. That was weird. Since they got to an actual wedding it could be argued that the angle wasn't totally forgotten about, but when one half of the story disappears chances are that WWE viewers have erased it from their memory. Apparently Kristal's boyfriend at the time, Bobby Lashley, hated that his lady was being forced to take her clothes off so much and take part in such a storyline. Lashley ended up leaving WWE soon after that as well.
