So it's great that Matt Hardy has regained control of all the "Broken" universe, and is freely using it on RAW. It's that side of him that has reinvigorated his work and fan interest in him. That said, Jeff Hardy doesn't really need "Brother Nero."

Jeff has always been the more popular Hardy brother, and just on his own, The Charismatic Enigma has been able to captivate audiences with his unique demeanor and dangerous high-flying stunts. Back in 2008 and 2009, Jeff was one of WWE's most popular singles acts, and at one point in 2009, he was doing better in merch sales than John Cena.

While a decade has passed and he wouldn't be a top guy anymore, Jeff Hardy can still go in the ring. Rather than be stuck in Matt's own universe, he should be allowed to go back to SmackDown and show what he could do as an elder statesman. Feuds with Rusev, AJ Styles, Dolph Ziggler, and Shinsuke Nakamura would have both variety and star power thanks to Hardy's name value.

Brother Nero is not obsolete, and it would show on SmackDown.
