10 WWE Royal Rumble 2017 Predictions 

This won't be Braun Strowman's first Royal Rumble match, but he's one of the favorites in the bout. Since the brand split, Strowman's been getting a huge push, and he still hasn't been beaten on TV. With rumors that he'll be facing Roman Reigns at WrestleMania - and Reigns challenging for the Universal Title on Sunday - it's quite possible that Strowman will be the last man standing.

It's possible, but ultimately, it's not going to happen. That said, they can still use the Royal Rumble as a chance to build up the Reigns-Strowman match. Rollins and Ambrose are in the Rumble bout, so it's not hard to craft a scenario where Strowman runs afoul of the two former Shield members. Strowman can eliminate Ambrose and throw Rollins through the ropes, but then can pull him out after (again, without eliminating him). Still, Strowman will get the better of Ambrose and Rollins on the outside, prompting Reigns (who lost to Owens earlier in the evening) to join his friends.

With Reigns, The Shield will be able to take Strowman back in the ring, then eliminate him with a well-placed Superman Punch. After that, a triple powerbomb through the announcers' table will give the fans reason to cheer, and will cement a Reigns-Strowman feud.
