10 WWE Royal Rumble 2017 Predictions 

Unfortunately, the Royal Rumble won't be a very good evening for AJ Styles. Despite having a great 2016, 'The Phenomenal One's ride will come to an end at the show, when John Cena defeats him to capture the WWE Championship.

That victory will ensure that John Cena becomes a 16-time world champion, but Styles will have one last trick up his sleeve. Late in the Royal Rumble, a SmackDown superstar with no real chance of winning the match - like Jack Swagger, or even James Ellsworth - will make his way down to the ring, but before he can enter, Styles will attack. He'll throw the unsuspecting star into the ring steps, then plant him with a Styles Clash on the outside of the ring. After that, nothing will stop 'The Phenomenal One' from joining the bout.

Unfortunately for his fans, though, Styles will rack up another loss. A frantic Shane McMahon, irate that Styles upset the balance of the match and took matters into his own hands, will come down to the ring and argue with the former WWE Champion from the sidelines. With the distraction, Styles will fall prey to an elimination, furthering his bad blood with Shane.
