10 WWE Royal Rumble Records That Will Never Be Broken

5. Runner-Up

Recordholder: Roman Reigns, 2014, 2017, 2018, 2020

No one has been the bridesmaid in the Royal Rumble more than Roman Reigns, who has been the last man eliminated from four different Rumbles. (He also won the 2015 edition and was the second-to-last man tossed in 2016.)

If you notice, that means Reigns has been in the final four of every Rumble in which he has participated. That’s an insane feat, and honestly, could be another record (most final four finishes) that might never be broken (six). But his second-place finishes to Batista, Randy Orton, Shinsuke Nakamura and Drew McIntyre is a pretty impressive display.

The only active WWE superstar with two runner-up finishes is Randy Orton (2006 and 2021). There is always that sliver of a chance that Orton competes in and is the last man out in two more Rumbles, but that’s so highly unlikely that we have to consider this record pretty damn safe.
