10 WWE Ruthless Aggression Tag Teams You Totally Don’t Remember
7. Matt Hardy And Tatanka
Though Matt Hardy has enjoyed a renaissance during the latter part of his career, its fair to say that in 2005 he was at something of a crossroads.
Despite returning to huge fanfare amidst his real-life heat with Edge, Hardy had failed to parlay his comeback into the main event push the support from the WWE fanbase could have justified.
Instead, while Edge went on to become a staple of the top of the card in his feud with John Cena, Hardy's momentum fizzled, and he found himself teaming with a variety of random partners as he feuded with MNM on SmackDown.
Then at No Way Out 2006, Hardy tagged with a recently returned Tatanka to defeat the pair in a none-title bout, before going on to lose in a rematch with the belts on the line the following week on SmackDown.
Interestingly, during his time as a rookie jobber in the WWE, Hardy had been summarily defeated by Tatanka in a 1995 episode of Wrestling Challenge.
