Even under the strangest circumstances, WWE doesn’t really miss with ladder matches, and here they’ve stuffed the ring with four of their top guys to ensure they have a hit on their hands. It’s a rematch of the WrestleMania belter for the Intercontinental Title, with the addition of Samoa Joe and a ladder, and accordingly, it’s a hard-hitting, quality affair.

The four superstars refuse to allow the pace to drop for a moment, and accordingly, the crowd are more into it than they are most matches across the WWE/Saudi partnership. All four guys play big and broad, with The Miz attempting to forge a partnership with Joe and the Samoan betraying his erstwhile partner in a pantomime fashion.

Balor puts on some great spots, teasing a ladder-assisted Coup De Grace before hitting one on Miz. Rollins has his working boots on and shows off his cardio with a late in the day cat-like leap onto the ladder for the win.

Most importantly, the crowd actually enjoys what they’re seeing here, particularly the efforts of Finn and Seth. It’s high octane, slick and well structured - no masterpiece, but a touch of real quality.
