10 WWE Saudi Arabia Matches That Didn't Totally Suck

It’s uncommon for WWE’s Saudi shows to have genuine feel-good moments, but when they do, they often come in the form of Mansoor. The Saudi native is the biggest fan favourite they deploy this evening. The crowd is genuinely thrilled to see him, and he’s on cloud nine throughout, making this match charmed from the off.

It helps that he’s given the perfect opponent to take him through the sprint of a clash. Cesaro, in full automaton heel mode, makes Mansoor look every part the sprightly underdog, plucking the young man out of the air and bruising him with uppercuts and throws.

Mansoor is green but clearly very talented; his athleticism is fantastic and he knows precisely which buttons to push to whip up the crowd even more. He somersaults and twists his way to their heart, looking every bit the superhero even as his beaming grin betrays how surprised he is to be in this position.

His win blows the (metaphorical) roof off the stadium. This is such an easy and enjoyable match to watch - it’s just a shame WWE don’t know what on earth to do with Mansoor for the rest of the year.
