10 WWE Slammy Award Winners That Must Happen

2. The New Day (WWE Tag-Team Of The Year)

Strides have been taken to fill out WWE's tag-team ranks, but the division is still one of the thinnest on the roster as 2015 comes to a close. The company really could be doing with a few more tandems to beef out the division and make it more competitive. Even so, the tag-team scene is home to one of the most entertaining acts currently on the promotion's payroll. The New Day have undoubtedly made 2015 a success for themselves. Xavier Woods, Kofi Kingston and Big E have been consistently brilliant, and they deserve the Slammy Award for 'WWE Tag-Team Of The Year'. In truth, there isn't really any other choice which would feel as fitting. Tyson Kidd and Cesaro were excellent at the beginning of the year, but they faded away due to Tyson Kidd's serious injury. The other nominees are more obvious than the 'Brass Ring Club'. The Usos, The Prime Time Players and The Lucha Dragons fill out the field. All have featured in good matches during 2015, but The New Day have been the highlight of the division by a long way. If nothing else, they will be entertaining when receiving the Slammy.
