10 WWE Spoilers For 2018 We Already Know
2. Hogan Returns
If there's one thing we've learned from the last couple of years of human history, it's that the controversy surrounding surreptitiously recorded conversations in which well-known public figures say offensive things doesn't really stick.
Actually, it was remarkably soon after the initial news story about Hulk Hogan's perceived indiscretions broke that WWE decided to extend him a public olive branch, with Triple H suggesting in 2015 that his reputation could perhaps one day be mended.
If stories are to be believed about talks between the Hulkster and his former employers taking place - possibly with an appearance on Raw's 25th anniversary celebration special in mind - then that day may well come as early as next month.
Reaction to this, in the wrestling world and further afield, will perhaps ultimately determine whether it becomes anything more than a one-time deal. If the wind of public opinion goes in the "right" direction (from WWE's perspective, anyway), then we should probably brace ourselves for the sight of Hogan slamming Braun at 'Mania.
